TV revisited

I love old TV shows. Obscure ones. I still haven't found anyone who remembers "What a Dummy" starring a puppet and that guy in Britney Spears' latest video. It was SO bad, the puppet came to life only around the family. It was on Saturday afternoons in the 80s. Its a living, Small wonder (did you know that Vicky grew up to be a born again Christian?!?)Good Times, Little house on the prairie and My so called life to name a few.
I also L O V E documentaries. HBO has the best ones. Appalachian mountain people, babies competing in pageants, a woman who single handedly cares for 13 non biological children who all have special needs- I love it all.
Seriously though I need to find someone who remembers What A Dummy.

All I can say is that your Dummy show must have been on in 1985-1987 because I was out of the country those years. I would've remembered this show! It sounds bizarre.

I don't know how old you are but back when I was a kid.....there was a show that almost no one remembers called "My World and Welcome to it!" about a Dad who was a cartoonist and his daughter who was gawky with braces. It was on Saturday nights.
Then on Sunday mornings when I was 12? 13? I used to LOVE "Three For The Road" with Leif Garrett, Vince Van Patten and Alex Rocco as the dad. They traveled in a camper. I totally LOVED!!!!!!! Leif Garrett!!
Are you too young to remember these? I am 41(gasp!).

  2. What a Dummy starred Stephen Dorf.
I don't remember any of those shows that you talked about, it could have been before my time. I am 29. Ok, well, I just turned 30. Did I just write that?
    I am sticking with 29.
