I am really sad today and not just because I have to entertain my in laws for a week. (that will be awesomeness for you though, because my god! the stories.)
A friend broke up with me and I feel terrible about it.
Guess where I went to cry about it? My bedroom closet!*
Good news: I am fully stocked up on ice cream. And booze.

Sounds to me like your shoes deserve some new friends! I am sorry to hear about your friend though, especially in light of the fact that you're also going to be stuck with your in laws this week. (Really? A whole week??) It's hard trying not to throttle people when you're already upset! I'll be holding a good thought for you!

Why did your friend break up with you? Doesn't she know what an awesome friend you are?!
You should short-sheet the beds for your in-laws first night. "Oh, DIL! What a practical joker you are!" to your face while, "What a bitch!" was directed at your back.

aw, that totally suck when a friend breaks up with you. their loss, not yours! you're fantastic and I will be freinds with you any day of the week!
