You know how it is when you are a new mom, you don't have the time or energy to buy new clothes. When you can go shopping you buy clothes for the baby. You are not working anymore, so you can wear all of your comfy clothes every day. What a revelation!
Believe me, I have some fashion DO NOTS in my closet but I wanted to share with you my "blacks".
These are my black shirts from my closet. There are many more in my drawers but I think you get the picture. If I find a shirt I like in black, I buy two so I have a spare. I admit it, it is easy to pull out my black shirt and pair it with anything and go. I was sort of similar - mine was mostly creme, tan, black, white - but that is ALOT of black shirts LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have livened up my closet since I realized what a "rut" I was in but I took it slow. LOL Of course, today I have on creme and brown and all week I have worn black with grey/white/pink.
I wish I had some advice, but everything I wear is black or brown.

How funny. My wife also has a fair number of black shirts, but mixes in lots of other colors also. I'm pretty sure she's never bought multiples of the same shirt in the same color before!
