Scare Me

Yeah. I couldn't see any genitalia of any sort. Oh well, only 20 more weeks to go before we find out.

I love this time of year because there are great scary movies and haunted house shows on television. I love that stuff and always have. I am the girl who would scare herself to death by reading scary books while babysitting alone in a strange house. I have no idea why I would do that to myself but I loved to be scared. Now that I am older and slightly wiser, real life is scary enough so I try to slow down on the scary movies, but a good ghost story always thrills me.
I have never had any real ghostly experience but of course some of you have right?
Scare me, tell me about your ghostly experiences.

  1. I am convinced that I have a friendly spirit (guardian angel?)... I can see him out of the corner of my eye and it is one of those things that I know isn't the light or my crappy vision... I can never remember a time he wasn't there.

As for scary stuff... nope, but I am gearing up to watch Disturbia tonight with my boys!

I'm like Kristin... there's something in my house like that. Plus, we've had no less than a dozen people hear two little girls giggling in my daughter's room... when it was only adults here and her room is WAY on the other side of the house.

First book that scared me was in 7th grade when I read Stephen King's "Christine." First movie that scared the tee-total-shit outta me was Silent Scream. I took my daughter to see Saw IV on Sunday. Scarier than all the others!! YAY!

This is not an attempt at shameless self-promotion, I promise. It would just take too long for me to type up.

I wrote the following last Halloween:

My husband and I both walked into an antique store and both of us felt a presence of something that didn't want us in there. I took a step forward and the lamp near us flashed off and on. Victor sat in the car and refused to go in.
